Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd (GOLIL) has announced strategic partnerships with leading construction equipment manufacturers Action Construction Equipment (ACE), Ammann India and XCMG, marking a key step in expanding its presence in India’s rapidly growing infrastructure and construction sector.

Under its collaboration with Ammann India, one of the country’s prominent road construction equipment manufacturers, Gulf Oil has been appointed the official lubricants partner for Ammann’s complete equipment portfolio. The partnership involves supplying high-performance lubricants under the Ammann Genuine Oil range, aimed at improving equipment durability, minimising downtime and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

The alliance brings together Ammann’s engineering capabilities and Gulf Oil’s advanced lubrication technologies. It also includes plans to jointly develop specialised lubricant formulations for next-generation and technologically advanced equipment. These products are designed to meet the requirements of contractors and infrastructure developers operating under demanding Indian working conditions.

In addition, Gulf Oil has entered into a partnership with XCMG, a global leader in construction equipment manufacturing, to launch XCMG-branded genuine lubricants in the Indian market. Alongside its long-standing association with Action Construction Equipment, the company has further expanded the ACE Genuine Oil range, which caters to a wide array of machinery including cranes, backhoe loaders, compactors, graders, forklifts, tractors and harvesters.

The latest collaborations strengthen Gulf Oil’s portfolio of OEM-approved lubricant solutions, helping customers achieve higher equipment reliability, extended service intervals and lower total cost of ownership. The company currently partners with more than 50 original equipment manufacturers across the automotive, industrial and construction segments, supported by on-ground technical services and strong application expertise.

Commenting on the development, Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd, said infrastructure has been a strategic focus area for the company for over 15 years, and the new partnerships further reinforce its long-term commitment to supporting India’s infrastructure development.

Beyond OEM tie-ups, Gulf Oil has also introduced a next-generation range of lubricants, including fire-resistant hydraulic oils, zinc-free energy-efficient formulations, synthetic gear oils and CE-V compliant diesel engine oils. Backed by localised research and development, advanced manufacturing capabilities and preparedness for evolving emission norms and electrification trends, the company continues to position itself as a trusted partner in India’s infrastructure and mobility ecosystem.
