Daedong Establishes Integrated Logistics Warehouse in U.S. Westt

Daedong Corp. establishes integrated logistics warehouses in Tacoma, Washington on August 4th, marking a significant step in its expansion across the North American market. The new Tacoma facility, located on the U.S West Coast, is part of Daedong’s strategic plan to create a balanced and more efficient logistics network by complementing its existing East Coast centered supply system. With this addition, Daedong has established a four-hub structure covering the East, Central, North and now the West enabling the company to respond more swiftly and effectively to regional demand and logistics shifts throughout North America to keep the logistics & supply chain trends.  Spanning approx. 29,000 sq. metres, the Tacoma warehouse can store up to 3,200 tractors indoors and outdoors. It also includes a line capable of assembling 2,000 agricultural machines annually and storage for roughly 4,000 different parts. As a full-service logistics centre, it will handle everything from assembly to parts storage and shipping.  Daedong expects the new facility to significantly ease supply chain congestion and improve service delivery, particularly in western Canada. Its location, just 40 minutes from the nearest port, allows for shorter lead times and reduced transportation distances cutting overall logistics mileage by about 14.2% compared to East Coast operations. These improvements are projected to yield annual logistics savings of approximately $5.35 million (7.4 billion won).As of May, Daedong holds an average 9.6% market share in the North American under-100 horsepower tractor segment, including a 6.95% share in the western region. The company currently operates through about 530 dealers across North America and plans to expand this number to 1,000 by 2030. The new Tacoma warehouse will play a key role in strengthening its presence in the West and supporting the growth of its dealer network.
