GREW Solar, one of India’s leading solar PV module manufacturers, has secured a 500 MW order from a prominent power developer to supply high-efficiency solar PV modules. The modules will be deployed across multiple upcoming utility-scale solar projects at various locations across the country.
The order includes the company’s advanced M10R and G12R module series, designed to deliver strong performance, durability and higher energy efficiency across diverse operating environments.
Supply to Support Utility-Scale Solar Deployment
Under the agreement, GREW Solar will supply domestically manufactured modules from its M10R and G12R platforms. These products are engineered to maximise energy output while ensuring reliable and stable performance under different climatic conditions, according to the company.
The order highlights the growing demand for high-efficiency, locally produced solar modules as developers accelerate project timelines in line with India’s renewable energy capacity expansion goals.
Momentum within the industry toward domestic sourcing, backed by supportive policy measures and supply chain localisation initiatives, continues to drive procurement from Indian solar manufacturers, the company stated.
Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director, GREW Solar, said, “This order represents a significant milestone for GREW Solar and reflects the trust that leading power developers place in our manufacturing expertise and product quality. Our M10R and G12R modules are built to deliver consistent performance and enable efficient project execution. As India advances its renewable energy ambitions, we remain focused on providing reliable, high-efficiency solar modules that support the nation’s clean energy transition.”
