Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has underscored its expansive warehousing and logistics capabilities spread across the country, reinforcing its standing as a critical enabler of integrated supply chain solutions for both export-import (EXIM) and domestic cargo movement.

The state-owned logistics giant operates a sprawling network of 55 warehouses pan-India, collectively offering a total warehousing capacity of approximately 439,330 square meters. This wide-reaching infrastructure is designed to address a broad spectrum of logistics requirements — from standard EXIM storage operations to domestic warehousing services — catering to the needs of diverse industry sectors across the country.

Beyond conventional warehousing, CONCOR has been steadily strengthening its focus on value-added logistics services. A standout component of this strategy is the company's investment in advanced green cold chain facilities, strategically positioned at key locations including Dadri and Azadpur. These temperature-controlled facilities, spanning over 4,252 square meters, have been purpose-built to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant handling of perishable and sensitive cargo.

By maintaining optimal temperature conditions throughout the storage and transit lifecycle, these facilities play a vital role in reducing wastage and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency for sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural produce.

What sets CONCOR apart in India's competitive logistics landscape is its integrated model that seamlessly combines the strength of rail-based transportation with modern, technology-driven warehousing infrastructure. This combination enables the company to offer genuinely end-to-end cargo solutions across the length and breadth of India, providing shippers and traders with a single, reliable logistics partner capable of handling movement from origin to destination without disruption.

As India continues to position itself as a global manufacturing and trade hub, the role of robust domestic logistics infrastructure becomes increasingly strategic. CONCOR's expanding network directly supports the country's broader trade facilitation goals, helping reduce logistics costs, improve turnaround times, and build a more resilient supply chain ecosystem. The company's commitment to sustainable and technology-driven infrastructure further aligns with national objectives around green logistics and efficient resource utilization.

With its combination of scale, multimodal capability, and specialized cold chain assets, CONCOR continues to affirm its role as a backbone of India's supply chain infrastructure — supporting industries, enabling trade, and driving economic momentum across the nation.
