Smartr Logistics has announced a temporary pause in its lightweight services, which currently cater to segments such as e-commerce and BFSI under the Aerex category, as part of its strategic move to strengthen its B2B offerings. The company revealed that this decision aligns with its broader strategy to redesign its product portfolio, allowing customers to choose between urgency and economy based on current market demands.

In a recent statement, Smartr Logistics confirmed that the realignment would take effect immediately, with the company planning to reintroduce a more robust and comprehensive suite of services later this year. The updated offerings will include lightweight and e-commerce solutions available in both air and ground express modes, with a relaunch expected by the end of 2024.

Yogesh Dhingra, Managing Director and CEO of Smartr Logistics, emphasized that the decision is a calculated move aimed at better serving customers in the long term. "While some customers have expressed disappointment at the temporary suspension, we want to reassure them that this is a strategic pivot, not a retreat. We are recalibrating our approach to return stronger with enhanced offerings that will exceed market expectations. Our commitment to the B2B segment remains unwavering, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in both air and ground express services," Dhingra stated.

He further added, "This realignment will enable us to continue delivering reliable, efficient, and innovative logistics solutions. Smartr is here to stay and grow, and our customers can be confident that the temporary pause is a step towards greater success."

Since its inception in October 2021, Smartr Logistics has rapidly expanded across India, covering over 2,750 pin codes in 117 cities. The company is on track to reach more than 6,000 pin codes by 2025, consistently outperforming industry standards with its swift interstate delivery times of 24-48 hours. As the company prepares for its next phase of growth, it remains dedicated to delivering superior logistics solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business success.
