CHANDIGARH: MatchLog, a global container reuse platform, has partnered with DD Khosla, a well-established logistics and transport operator in Punjab, to strengthen container reuse, enhance fleet connectivity, and bring greater efficiency to logistics operations in one of India’s busiest trade regions.
As part of this collaboration, DD Khosla will work closely with MatchLog to increase the frequency and reliability of street turns across key trade lanes in Punjab. The focus is on ensuring that import containers are quickly matched with export demand, reducing the need to move empty containers back to ports or inland depots. By combining MatchLog’s STinder technology with DD Khosla’s strong transporter network and on-ground expertise, the initiative aims to cut repositioning costs and improve overall asset utilisation for both transporters and cargo owners.
The partnership also includes MiSTY Yard Services, which is designed to streamline yard operations by improving turnaround times and offering better visibility and control over container movement and dwell time. In addition, logistics operators will benefit from integrated support services such as coordination, documentation, and end-to-end management of container flows. DD Khosla will also play a key role in expanding MatchLog’s transporter and fleet partner network across Punjab, helping trucking operators access more consistent freight opportunities while reducing empty return trips.
Commenting on the development, Harsh Vardhan Gupta, Co-founder and India CEO, MatchLog, said that Punjab’s strong import-export activity creates the right environment for large-scale container reuse. He added that DD Khosla’s local expertise and deep industry relationships will help deliver measurable improvements such as reduced empty runs, faster yard operations, and more predictable business for transporters. He further noted that this collaboration marks an important step towards building a robust regional reuse network that can drive long-term efficiency across Punjab’s logistics corridors.
This partnership highlights MatchLog’s ongoing efforts to expand container reuse through collaborations with trusted regional players. Going forward, both companies plan to build on this initiative through wider industry engagement and expanded programmes, encouraging greater adoption of digital container reuse solutions within Punjab’s logistics ecosystem.
