The new projects span logistics, transportation, industrial corridors, and port upgrades, all of which are expected to accelerate EXIM in supply chain operations and bolster India’s position in global trade and supply chain management.

As India positions itself as a hub for international trade supply chain solutions, these investments are seen as a step toward making the nation more resilient, future-ready, and competitive on the world stage. The incident follows the vessel's capsizing early Sunday, which also caused a major oil spill off the Kerala coast.

Coastal police confirmed on Monday that multiple containers were found along Kollam's shoreline, with at least four spotted so far. The exact number of containers that have reached the shore remains unknown, and efforts are underway to assess the situation and mitigate risks. Police personnel have been deployed in full strength across the affected regions to prevent public access.
