Greater Noida is poised to become a pillar of India's logistics infrastructure as the Uttar Pradesh government's plans for the establishment of a multi-modal logistics hub (MMLH) take shape. The project, which is situated in the Greater Noida neighbourhood of Dadri, is the result of a major INR 7,064 crore investment from the state government. It is an essential component of UP's financial plan to reach a $1 trillion economy. Being the largest logistics hub in the nation, the hub's core development will occupy 455 acres of the overall area, in excess of 800 acres. The magnificent project aims to make Dadri a premier freight handling hub that can efficiently serve as a dry port to expedite the movement of raw materials and goods. Strategically located on the dedicated freight corridors to the east and west, it enjoys a central location that will strengthen its role as a hub for logistics services. This includes handling containers, warehousing, processing, cold storage, stuffing, de-stuffing, and value-added packing. A Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will oversee the development of the MMLH.
