Flipkart to Invest $2.5 Billion in Logistics and Warehousing to Fuel E-Commerce Growth

E-commerce major Flipkart has announced an ambitious plan to pour $2 billion into logistics infrastructure and an additional $500 million into building a nationwide warehouse network over the next four to five years. The announcement was made by co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Binny Bansal, signaling the company's aggressive push to strengthen its end-to-end supply chain capabilities across India. The announcement came on the occasion of the inauguration of Flipkart's largest fulfilment centre in the country, located at Gundla
