CTRAM and Aviral Consulting Partner to Strengthen India’s Logistics

In a landmark step to modernize India’s logistics landscape, the Center for Transportation Research and Management (CTRAM) an autonomous body under the Ministry of Railways as entered into a strategic partnership with Aviral Consulting Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in logistics and supply chain management. The collaboration aims to drive knowledge-based and outcome-driven solutions for India’s fast-evolving logistics and supply chain ecosystem.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed by Shri Amit Kumar Singh, Executive Director at CTRAM, and Dr. Vikash Khatri, Founder of Aviral Consulting, in the presence of Dr. Surendra Ahirwar, Executive Director, Traffic Commercial and Gati Shakti (Traffic), Ministry of Railways.

This public-private partnership seeks to address key national priorities in areas such as:
• Multimodal Transport Integration
• Rail Freight Share Expansion
• Sustainability in Logistics
• Smart Logistics Frameworks
• Skill Development Initiatives

 



By combining CTRAM’s institutional policy expertise with Aviral Consulting’s industry-driven insights, the partnership aims to redefine logistics chain management in India, supporting the development of real-time logistics planning, enhanced logistics planning software, and demand forecasting in logistics.

"Collaborative logistics research led by CTRAM can unlock transformative, application-based solutions that enhance efficiency, multimodal integration, and a future-ready freight ecosystem for India," said Shri Amit Kumar Singh during the signing ceremony.

This partnership also aligns with India’s broader vision under PM Gati Shakti to create a unified, digitally connected, and efficient logistics and distribution network. The focus on best logistics strategies for businesses, logistics packaging, and sustainable logistics services will play a crucial role in supporting growing industries and improving the nation's global supply chain competitiveness.

As the demand for logistics and supply chain trends evolves rapidly, this collaboration sets a new benchmark in institutional and industry cooperation, driving innovation and operational excellence across India’s logistics sector.
