AEO-LO certification is recognized as one of the highest security standards in the supply chain. DP World announced that it has received AEO-LO (authorised economic operator for logistic and terminal operators) certification from the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), which will help the company streamline clearance procedures at all customs stations across India for five years. The World Customs Organization (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards certifies enterprises whose activities improve global supply chain security and allow the transportation of legitimate goods, according to the company statement. "In today's turbulent global trade environment, this certification will highlight and strengthen DP World's reputation as a dependable and secure logistics service with extensive experience assuring effective cross-border trade. The AEO-LO certification will streamline clearance procedures for DP World at all customs stations in India for five years," it said.
