Allcargo Logistics has reduced its month-end financial closing time by 30% after implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to automate finance operations and improve visibility across its business.

The company has consolidated its core business processes on a single integrated platform, helping reduce manual workloads while strengthening governance and internal controls.

Founded in 1993, Allcargo Logistics operates more than 700 facilities across India and serves customers in sectors such as e-commerce, automobiles and pharmaceuticals. To support its expanding operations, the company replaced its legacy on-premises systems with a cloud-based platform designed to use artificial intelligence (AI) for routine task automation, real-time visibility and stronger controls.

Through Oracle Fusion Applications for finance, Allcargo Logistics has brought more than 4,000 users and over 700 operating units onto one integrated platform.

"Digital transformation is central to our long-term growth strategy and our commitment to operational excellence," said Sanjay Khiyani, Chief Information Officer at Allcargo Logistics.

He added that the platform creates a foundation for using AI to simplify processes, improve visibility and support the company's continued expansion.

With Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Allcargo Logistics has standardised and automated finance activities across its operations. The changes have helped teams spend less time on manual work, improve financial reporting and strengthen internal controls.

Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement, part of Oracle Cloud ERP, has also enabled the company to automate procurement processes from start to finish. The system gives teams a more consistent view of purchasing activities across different operating units.

Shailesh Singla, Vice President, Cloud Applications, Oracle India, said logistics companies need applications that can handle a growing share of operational work as customer expectations increase and supply chains become more dynamic.

He said Oracle's AI capabilities and Fusion Agentic Applications are helping Allcargo Logistics automate routine tasks, allowing employees to focus less on managing processes and more on decision-making and business priorities.

Grant Thornton Bharat, an Oracle PartnerNetwork partner, managed the implementation.
