PUMA India has joined forces with Accenture to optimize its supply chain and distribution operations across the country. The collaboration leverages Accenture’s expertise in digital twin technology and advanced analytics to improve fulfillment speed, reduce operational costs, and support PUMA India’s growth in an increasingly competitive market.

Accenture’s solution has reimagined PUMA India’s supply chain, focusing on large hubs, regional warehouses, and fulfillment center layouts. This overhaul aims to drive faster, more efficient material flows and quicker dispatches, helping PUMA meet growing consumer demand and stay ahead of evolving delivery expectations.

The initiative is expected to boost the speed of order delivery by up to 70% and cut supply chain costs by up to 10%. Additionally, the solution will enable PUMA to double its express-delivery capabilities for online orders, enhancing its eCommerce and offline channel performance.

Karthik Balagopalan, Managing Director of PUMA India, highlighted that the partnership with Accenture is a key move to strengthen PUMA’s operational efficiency. “As a leading brand in a rapidly growing digital commerce market, speed and efficiency are critical for providing an excellent customer experience and building brand loyalty,” Balagopalan said. “This collaboration will help us adapt and scale our operations to meet the evolving needs of our customers across all regions.”

Saurabh Kumar Sahu, who heads Accenture’s India business, emphasized the importance of supply chain innovation in today’s competitive landscape. “In a market where consumers have a wide range of choices in products, prices, and delivery options, brands need to rethink their supply chains to stay agile and sustainable,” Sahu stated. “Our work with PUMA India will help build a more efficient, profitable, and sustainable operation.”

In addition to operational improvements, the collaboration is also aligned with PUMA India’s sustainability goals. By optimizing the supply chain to bring fulfillment centers closer to both consumers and suppliers, the initiative is expected to reduce carbon emissions. PUMA India’s fulfillment centers will also be equipped with sustainable infrastructure, including solar power, reusable assets, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, in partnership with third-party logistics providers.

Through this partnership, PUMA India is poised to enhance its customer service, increase delivery speed, reduce costs, and drive sustainability, while positioning itself for long-term success in the Indian market.
