The portal was officially launched by B.P. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of NALCO, in the presence of senior leadership and company officials.

Key dignitaries at the launch included Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical), and A.K. Singh, Director (Commercial).

The launch marks an important milestone in NALCO’s digital journey and highlights its commitment to building transparent and efficient procurement systems.

Seamless End-to-End Digital Solution

The newly introduced portal provides a fully integrated, end-to-end digital platform to manage procurement activities related to imported goods. It offers several advantages, including improved transparency and accountability in tender processes, faster procurement cycles with reduced paperwork, enhanced vendor participation, and better data tracking and compliance.

The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s broader Digital India vision and is expected to modernise supply chain operations across the organisation.

Boosting Operational Excellence

By digitising proprietary and limited tender processes, NALCO aims to strengthen governance standards while improving procurement efficiency. The platform is designed to simplify vendor interactions, minimise manual intervention, and enable real-time monitoring of procurement workflows.

The launch of the e-Procurement Portal represents a forward-looking move towards building a smarter, more transparent, and technology-driven supply chain, reinforcing NALCO’s commitment to operational excellence and innovation.
