Yum China has officially opened its largest self-built supply chain management center in Jiading, which began operations on September 24. The facility spans 61,000 square meters and was completed in just over two years. This state-of-the-art center features advanced technologies, including automated logistics, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), and rooftop photovoltaic panels, aiming to create an efficient, intelligent, and environmentally friendly hub for supply chain operations. Joey Wat, CEO of Yum China, stated, “This center not only addresses our supply chain needs in East China but also supports nationwide cold chain integration, marking our advancement in world-class supply chain management.” The center includes ambient temperature and cold chain storage, office space, and support facilities.
