Yasin given charge of Agriculture, Ports and IT

The Lieutenant Governor has ordered the appointment of Choudhary Mohammed Yasin, IAS, as Secretary to the Government of Puducherry handling subjects of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Ports and Information Technology. He will also hold charge as Secretary-cum-Commissioner of State Tax and function as Chief Executive Officer, Puducherry Smart City Development Limited. The officer has recently joined the Puducherry administration.
