Western Carriers (India) saw its shares surge by 8.94% to βΉ120.60 after announcing a significant logistics contract worth approximately βΉ558 crore from Jindal Stainless (JSL). This marks a substantial boost for the company and signals growing momentum in India's supply chain industry.
Under this three-year agreement, Western Carriers will handle the movement of stainless-steel products including slabs, coils, and sheet plates across the country using DSO containers. This strategic partnership strengthens India's digital supply chain and logistics ecosystem.
