Western Carriers bags β‚Ή558 crore logistics contract from Jindal Stainless

Western Carriers (India) saw its shares surge by 8.94% to β‚Ή120.60 after announcing a significant logistics contract worth approximately β‚Ή558 crore from Jindal Stainless (JSL). This marks a substantial boost for the company and signals growing momentum in India's supply chain industry.

Under this three-year agreement, Western Carriers will handle the movement of stainless-steel products including slabs, coils, and sheet plates across the country using DSO containers. This strategic partnership strengthens India's digital supply chain and logistics ecosystem.

“This is a prestigious mandate that reinforces our capabilities in managing large-scale, mission-critical logistics operations across India,” said Rajendra Sethia, Chairman and Managing Director of Western Carriers (India). “We remain committed to delivering efficient and quality services to support the domestic industrial ecosystem.”
