Warning over scam cruises from a container port

Suffolk County Council has issued a public warning after a fraudulent Facebook advert falsely claimed that cruise holidays were departing from Felixstowe Port, a known container terminal, not a passenger port. The scam post, which has since been removed, reportedly directed users to a suspicious website designed to harvest personal and financial information. The trading standards department flagged the post as a scam and urged the public to remain cautious of
