VRL Logistics Q1 FY25 PAT Drops by 60.43% to Rs 13.43 Crore

Revenue for VRL Logistics from April to June was Rs 727.20 crore, up 7.85% from Rs 674.22 crore in the same period last year.

For the quarter that concluded on June 30, VRL Logistics recorded a 60.43 percent decrease in net profit, coming in at Rs 13.43 crore as opposed to Rs 33.94 crore PAT for the same period the previous year.

Its income increased by 7.85% during the April-June quarter to Rs 727.20 crore from Rs 674.22 crore in the same period last year.

Over the reviewed period, the company's total expenses climbed by 13.63 percent to Rs 724.38 crore from Rs 637.49 crore.

Known by most as the VRL Group, VRL Logistics is a well-known logistics firm with its headquarters located in Hubballi, Karnataka, India. Since its founding in 1976, VRL has developed into one of the country's most well-known logistics and transport firms, and it today has the biggest fleet of commercial vehicles in India. It offers a dependable and secure logistical network for package delivery, guaranteeing last-mile delivery even in outlying areas.

In India, VRL provides services in 24 states and 5 union territories. As of March 31, 2023, it had 1,209 branches operating inside its network, comprising 50 sizable transshipment hub locations. The corporation owns and operates a fleet of more than 5,900 cars.
