Vadhavan Port to Be a Game Changer, Will Connect 24 Districts via Samruddhi Mahamarg: CM

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis described the upcoming Vadhavan Port as a “game changer,” emphasizing its strategic importance in boosting connectivity and economic development across the state.Speaking at the Maharashtra Maritime Summit held in Mumbai, Fadnavis highlighted that the port will be linked to 24 districts through the Samruddhi Mahamarg and other access roads, significantly enhancing logistics and trade efficiency. He also announced that the port will feature on offshore airport to expedite cargo movement. The summit began with Nitesh Rane, Minister for Ports and Fisheries, presenting his vision and roadmap for developing Maharashtra’s port infrastructure. Rane emphasized the importance of skilling the youth to prepare them for employment
