TVS SCS Secures Multi-Year Contract for In-Plant Logistics at JCB’s Vadodara Facility

Global supply chain solutions provider TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has secured a new multi-year contract to manage in-plant warehousing and logistics operations at JCB’s facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. This agreement, spanning the next three years, marks a continuation of the long-standing partnership between TVS SCS and JCB, which has lasted over two decades.

TVS SCS has been providing aftermarket warehouse services for JCB at their Bhaproda, Haryana, location, focusing on parts distribution. The new contract will see TVS SCS deliver comprehensive in-plant logistics services at JCB’s Vadodara plant. These services will encompass end-to-end warehouse management, including unloading, put-away of parts, picking, and lineside feeding.

To execute this contract effectively, TVS SCS plans to deploy advanced material handling equipment (MHEs) and employ approximately 110 personnel. JCB’s Vadodara plant is a crucial manufacturing hub, producing fabrications and components for JCB’s global operations. This collaboration with TVS SCS is expected to enhance operational efficiency and streamline logistics processes at the facility.
