Nashik Airport Sees Fourfold Surge in Air Freight in Q1 FYβ€―2025‑26

Nashik Airport has recorded a remarkable rise in air cargo traffic during the first quarter of FY2025-26, handling 2,416 metric tonnes of cargo between April and June, a fourfold increase compared to the 556 metric tonnes processed in the same period last year. According to Halcon, the airport’s cargo operator, 145 cargo flights carried a diverse mix of exports including agricultural produce, poultry and industrial goods to international markets. This marks the highest quarterly export volume since the launch of cargo operations at the airport, up significantly from just 34 cargo flights in Q1
