Mahindra Logistics Limited has unveiled the ‘Emission Analytics Report,’ a cutting-edge digital platform designed to assist businesses in monitoring and reducing their carbon emissions. This platform offers real-time visualization of carbon emissions, enabling companies to effectively decarbonize their supply chains.
The Emission Analytics Report is primarily focused on transportation-related emissions, providing valuable insights into Scope 3 carbon emissions. It allows users to track data on emissions intensity, tonne-kilometres, and emissions segmented by transport mode and fuel usage. Additionally, customers can access emissions savings certificates through this platform, which is available on a subscription basis.
This innovative platform is part of Mahindra Logistics’ broader green logistics initiative, Edel. Initially launched as a green last-mile cargo delivery service, Edel has expanded to include carbon-neutral warehousing solutions and a fleet of electric vehicles for last-mile delivery. The Emission Analytics Report enhances this ecosystem by offering a fully automated, SaaS-based tool that integrates smoothly with existing systems. Accredited by the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) and compliant with ISO 14083 standards, the platform is accessible via both web and mobile devices.
The report is particularly beneficial for businesses adhering to BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting) guidelines and other environmental regulations. It supports companies across various industries—such as automotive, manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, and e-commerce—in tracking and reporting their Scope 3 emissions at the shipment level.
