JSW Infrastructure Ltd. announced on Monday that it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority for a ₹740-crore port development project aimed at boosting container handling capacity at the Netaji Subhas Dock in Kolkata. The project involves the reconstruction of Berth 8 and mechanization of Berth 7, and has been awarded on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
