IoTechWorld Avigation, a leading drone manufacturer in India, has received approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to establish a Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO). This approval highlights the company’s dedication to advancing drone technology and training in India, solidifying its position as a pioneer in the rapidly growing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector.

The RPTO license enables IoTechWorld to offer extensive training programs for small and medium-class drones, under the guidance of DGCA-certified instructors. This ensures that trainees receive top-tier education that meets the highest standards of safety and proficiency.

Located on Dhumaspur Road, near Delhi Public School, Sector 67A, Badshahpur, Gurugram, the state-of-the-art training facility offers easy access and an optimal setting for both theoretical learning and practical flying exercises. This strategic location supports the company's goal of delivering comprehensive, real-world drone training.

“This DGCA approval for our RPTO is a transformative milestone for both IoTechWorld and the Indian drone industry. It enables us to provide high-quality training to aspiring drone pilots, further reinforcing our leadership in the sector. We aim to cultivate a new generation of skilled drone operators who can fully leverage this technology across various industries, with a strong focus on agriculture,” said Deepak Bhardwaj, Co-Founder and Director of IoTechWorld Avigation.

The RPTO license and the Remote Pilot Certificates (RPCs) issued by IoTechWorld are valid for 10 years, offering long-term professional credentials to graduates.

Anoop Upadhyay, Director and Co-founder of IoTechWorld Avigation, added, “Beyond manufacturing drones, we are shaping the future of drone operations in India. This approval is a significant step in our mission to revolutionize the agricultural sector and beyond. By providing hands-on training at our advanced facility, we empower the next generation of drone operators to drive innovation in technology-driven solutions. We are excited to expand our drone ecosystem in India with more such initiatives.”
