India-Japan Discuss Ways To Sustain Secure Maritime Environment Conducive For Inclusive Growth

India and Japan held the 7th Maritime Affairs Dialogue in Tokyo to discuss strengthening maritime security cooperation. The meeting focused on maintaining a secure maritime environment and enhancing collaborative efforts to ensure free and open sea routes in the Indo-Pacific region.Both nations reviewed their ongoing maritime initiatives, including cooperation in maritime domain awareness (MDA), countering illicit maritime activities, and capacity-building efforts.
