IIT Madras Pravartak unveils AI-powered certification courses in supply chain and logistics

IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, in partnership with Cambtech, has introduced a series of certification programmes aimed at revolutionising training in the supply chain and logistics industry. These courses combine advanced artificial intelligence tools with immersive learning, preparing students for real-world corporate challenges.
The programme features a virtual office environment where students can engage in simulated work scenarios, carrying out financial transactions in real-time. This AI-driven platform ensures a hands-on experience that mirrors the complexities of the professional world.

Programme details and registration

The first cohort begins on January 1, with registration open until 25 December. Interested candidates can apply via the official portal: digitalskills.iitmpravartak.org.in/courses.php. The certification covers key areas, including supply chain management, chartering practices, port and terminal management, and international liner trade. Upon successful completion, participants will receive certificates jointly issued by Cambtech and IITM Pravartak.

A focus on experiential learning

These programmes provide experiential learning equivalent to three months of corporate experience, enhancing job readiness. Lectures are delivered by Prof. G. Srinivasan, a distinguished expert and former Head of Management Studies at IIT Madras, with over three decades of academic and industry leadership.

This initiative aims to equip students with the practical expertise and foundational knowledge required to excel in the rapidly evolving supply chain and logistics sectors.
