IIT Madras and CII Institute of Logistics revamp supply chain management professional certification program

IIT Madras and the CII Institute of Logistics have announced the reintroduction of the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMPro) certification, a premier program designed to train professionals in supply chain management. Starting April 1, 2025, the course will combine academic excellence with industry insights, offering video lectures, e-study materials, and remote-proctored online exams.This certification program, operated through IIT Madras' Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE), has already trained 40,000 professionals over a decade. The revamped course will now feature IIT Madras faculty lectures, delivering comprehensive knowledge on supply chain optimization, logistics, e-commerce, and global supply chain dynamics.Key Highlights of the SCMPro Certification:Target Audience: Professionals from Manufacturing, IT, e-Commerce, Retail, FMCG, and Logistics sectors, as well as students pursuing Engineering, Commerce, Science, or Business Management.Curriculum: Five modules, including 30 hours of video content, e-study materials, and moderated discussion forums for expert interaction.Examinations: Remote-proctored online assessments with 200 MCQs.
