HERE Technologies Launches Advanced Software to Enhance Efficiency of Delivery Fleets

The company HERE Technologies, which specializes in mapping data and navigation technology, is introducing new software designed to facilitate the planning and administration of delivery vehicle fleets.

HERE's Fleet Optimization package monitors maps and traffic in real time, taking into account variables like bridge heights, road conditions, and slowdowns. Artificial intelligence is then used to evaluate past traffic data to create the most efficient routes for fleet vehicles. The program computes arrival times based on suggested routes while also taking driver availability and delivery schedules into consideration.
