Dave Clark, the former CEO of Amazon's consumer division, announced on Tuesday that his new software supply chain management startup, Auger, has successfully secured over $100 million in private equity funding from Oak HC/FT and other investors. Auger plans to offer a software-as-a-service platform that leverages an artificial intelligence operating system and automation to deliver real-time data and insights, helping companies alleviate supply chain challenges.

Before launching Auger, Clark spent 23 years at Amazon, where he played a crucial role in transforming the company into a global delivery powerhouse. He also had a brief tenure as CEO of Flexport, a firm specializing in data and logistics for order and shipping management.

Auger is expected to reveal more about its product roadmap in the coming months.
