CONCOR Explores Strategic Partnership with CMA CGM to Boost Global Logistics Connectivity

New Delhi, Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) is actively exploring collaboration opportunities with global shipping giant CMA CGM after a high-level meeting held in Marseille on March 18, 2026.

The CONCOR delegation, led by Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Swarup, included senior officials such as CFO Harish Chandra, Area Head (South) Gayatri, and Group General Manager (Business Development) Paresh Agrawal. During the interaction, Swarup outlined CONCOR’s growing logistics network, ongoing customer-focused initiatives, and its long-term expansion roadmap. Key projects discussed included:

Operations at the upcoming Bhavnagar Port

The proposed Bharat Container Shipping Line (BCSL)

Development of additional Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs) across key strategic locations

The CMA CGM delegation, which included Yannis Chaffi and other senior executives, also shared insights and explored areas of mutual interest, particularly in intermodal logistics and strengthening global supply chain integration.

The meeting reflects CONCOR’s broader vision to build strong international partnerships and align with leading global players to improve efficiency, enhance connectivity, and strengthen India’s position in the global container logistics landscape.
