Apple Inc. has achieved a total freight on board (FoB) production value of $22 billion (₹1.89 trillion) for iPhones assembled in India during FY25, marking a 57% increase compared to the previous fiscal year, as per data shared by its vendors with the government.
Of this, approximately 80% of the production value was driven by exports, while the remaining $4.5 billion accounted for devices assembled for the domestic market.
The overall market value representing the retail price of iPhones sold both in India and overseas is estimated at around $33 billion (₹2.84 trillion), positioning it as one of the largest manufacturing operations in the country.
