Ameba, a London-based startup, has successfully raised £5.4 million in seed funding aimed at transforming global supply chains through artificial intelligence. The company is co-founded by Cedrik Hoffmann, a former supply chain director and co-founder of the eCommerce platform VALOREO, and Craig Massie, a former engineer at Palantir who developed the firm's data privacy tool. Ameba’s innovative platform operates on top of existing software to assist companies in managing and optimizing their complex supply chains. It automates data extraction from diverse sources, including emails, WhatsApp, PDFs, and Excel spreadsheets, making it easier for businesses to navigate their supply chain challenges. The funding round was led by Hedosophia and included participation from existing investors Visionaries Club and Anamcara.
