Amazon has launched a new same-day delivery facility in the Oklahoma City metro area, promising fast and efficient service that brings packages to customers' doorsteps within hours—just in time for the holiday shopping season. The 180,000-square-foot warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyor belts, machine-operated pods, and a team of over 200 employees working together to fulfill orders quickly. “When you place an order on our website, it’s available in our building and we have it to you within hours,” said Blaine Cooper, site leader. This new facility is part of Amazon’s broader investment in Oklahoma, where the company has created over 8,000 jobs across 10 facilities and partnered with more than 2,500 local small and medium-sized businesses that sell through its platform.
