The Adani Group is set to invest βΉ500 crore to develop a state-of-the-art logistics park on a 70-acre site in Ernakulam, Kerala, as announced by the state’s Industries and Law Minister, P. Rajeeve. The group has already acquired the industrial plot, and the project is expected to create hundreds of jobs for local residents, according to Rajeeve. The logistics park will feature multiple warehouses operated by private companies, with Flipkart among the first to establish a facility there. Sources familiar with the plans revealed that the Walmart-owned e-commerce giant aims to have its facility operational by December this year.
