ACAAI President Meets Indian Embassy Officials in Baku to Bolster Ties Ahead of the 48th Annual Convention

In a significant step towards enhancing diplomatic and industry relations, Mr. C.K. Govil, President of the Air Cargo Agents’ Association of India (ACAAI), recently met with officials at the Indian Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan. The visit forms part of the preparations for ACAAI's upcoming 48th Annual Convention, scheduled from December 5th to 8th, 2024. The convention is expected to draw considerable participation from ACAAI members, who are enticed by both professional opportunities and Baku’s appeal as a top tourist destination.

During his visit, Mr. Govil held discussions with the First Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Azerbaijan, extending an invitation to Indian Ambassador Sridharan Madhusudhanan to inaugurate the event. Additionally, the First Secretary was invited to attend the convention. This meeting underscores the convention's significance, not only for the air cargo industry but also as a platform for strengthening India-Azerbaijan relations through productive engagement between business leaders and diplomats.

This year’s convention, themed "Wings of Innovation: Charting New Paths in Logistics," will focus on innovation and forward-looking strategies within the logistics sector. The choice of Baku as the venue highlights ACAAI’s commitment to hosting its conventions in attractive and strategic locations, fostering global industry connections and broader participation.


As the logistics landscape continues to evolve, the 48th ACAAI Annual Convention in Baku promises to be a landmark event, bringing together stakeholders from across the globe to discuss and shape the future of air cargo and logistics.
