A Russian missile strike on April 10 targeted the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, damaging a warehouse belonging to Biosphere Corporation, a major producer of household goods with brands such as Freken BOK, Smile, PRO service, Novita, Vortex, Eventa, and LayKit.
Company founder Andriy Zdesenko confirmed that one employee was killed and several others were injured in the attack. Efforts are currently underway to contain the resulting fire and prevent it from reaching the company's production facilities.
While some of Biosphere’s production sites and warehouses had previously been relocated to other regions of Ukraine for safety, Zdesenko acknowledged that the strike was a significant blow to the business.
The missile strike also claimed the life of a 42-year-old man in the city and left several civilians injured, marking yet another tragic escalation in Russia’s ongoing assault on Ukrainian infrastructure.
