KSH Integrated Logistics Pvt. Ltd. has taken a significant step in expanding its national footprint with the launch of its first warehousing facility in Eastern India. The company commissioned a 60,000 sq. ft Grade-A logistics park in Kolkata on June 18, designed to serve businesses looking to strengthen their presence across Eastern and North-Eastern India. The multi-client warehouse will deliver integrated warehousing, distribution, and supply chain services from what the company describes as a strategically positioned logistics hub.

The facility has been built to accommodate rising trade volumes and shifting consumption trends in a region that has steadily grown in importance as a logistics and distribution corridor. Rather than requiring businesses to invest heavily in their own dedicated infrastructure, the warehouse offers scalable storage and fulfilment capabilities that can adapt to varying operational demands.

In terms of industry coverage, the Kolkata facility will serve sectors including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fast-moving consumer durables (FMCD), and fintech. KSH has positioned the project as a combination of Grade-A physical infrastructure and operational systems designed to improve supply chain efficiency and flexibility for its occupiers.

Vinay Patil, Chief Executive Officer of KSH Integrated Logistics, described Kolkata as a critical gateway to Eastern and North-Eastern India, pointing to growing demand from businesses for logistics partners that can offer both scale and operational agility.

He indicated that the new facility is a deliberate part of the company's broader ambition to build a connected logistics network spanning the country.

Beyond standard storage operations, the warehouse will provide a suite of value-added services including pre-packing, kitting, MRP stickering, and customised supply chain solutions. These offerings are aimed at businesses seeking to consolidate their logistics operations under a single integrated platform.

The facility will also deploy electric vehicles for last-mile delivery, which the company says aligns with its strategy to introduce more sustainable logistics practices while maintaining efficient urban and regional distribution. On the safety front, the warehouse is equipped with fire hydrants and sprinkler systems to meet applicable fire safety standards.

From a technology standpoint, the facility is supported by both a Warehouse Management System and a Transportation Management System, enabling real-time inventory monitoring, fulfilment management, and transportation planning. These digital tools are intended to give occupiers greater visibility and control across their supply chains.

KSH has projected that the facility will generate more than 100 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the region, while also contributing to the broader development of organised logistics infrastructure in Eastern India. The company added that it continues to assess further expansion opportunities across key industrial and consumption centres as demand for structured logistics solutions grows nationwide.
