DALLAS, TEXAS — May 21, 2026 — Panda Biotech, the United States' leading zero-waste industrial hemp processor and operator of the largest hemp decortication facility in the Western Hemisphere, has announced the creation of India's first fully integrated hemp fiber-to-yarn supply chain ecosystem. The initiative was launched in partnership with Culturewell Trading LLP and its subsidiary, Culturewell Hemp Pvt. Ltd., and marks a pivotal moment for sustainable textile sourcing on a global scale.

The two companies have jointly built the infrastructure required to transform certified U.S.-grown hemp from mechanically-cottonized fiber into finished yarn. That includes degumming and spinning capabilities that, until now, were not available anywhere in India. The result is an end-to-end solution that takes American hemp from farm to finished yarn, ready for integration into one of the world's most sophisticated manufacturing ecosystems.

India sits at the center of that opportunity. The country supplies yarns, fabrics, denim, garments, technical textiles, and home furnishings to major global brands, and its mills are under growing pressure to source raw materials that are traceable, sustainable, and competitively priced. This partnership is designed to meet exactly that demand.

"India represents one of the most strategically important textile markets in the world," said Panda Biotech President Dixie Carter. "The country's mills and manufacturers are searching for high-quality natural fibers that can compete globally on consistency, performance, traceability, and price. Through our partnership with Culturewell, we now have a trusted, experienced partner on the ground to accelerate adoption of American-grown hemp across India."

Every shipment moving through the partnership carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and USDA BioPreferred certifications, giving buyers a verifiable sustainability story that meets the sourcing and compliance expectations of export-focused brands worldwide.

"What we have built with Panda Biotech is not simply a supply agreement it is the foundation of an entirely new industrial framework for hemp in India," said Culturewell CEO Rajesh Raizada. "Indian customers have been asking for hemp yarn, not just fiber. For the first time, we can deliver it certified American-grown hemp, degummed, spun, and ready for the mills.

We are proud to bring the highest-quality, traceable U.S.-grown hemp products to India and to help build the sustainable hemp supply chain this market deserves."

The partnership offers three core product lines. Textile-Grade Mechanically Cottonized Fiber is processed without scouring or bleaching and is ready to be blended with cotton or other cellulosic fibers for coarse count yarns, with mills already spinning from 6s to 30s counts for knitting. It also serves non-woven applications including thermal and acoustic insulation, vacuum insulated panels, carpet backing, and mattress ticking. Degummed Fiber has been scoured and bleached or semi-bleached for knits and lightweight fabrics requiring medium to fine count yarns, suitable for ring spinning at 20s and 30s counts and applicable to hygiene, filtration, wipes, and medical product industries. Finally, finished Yarn produced by Culturewell is available in hemp blends ranging from 20 to 100 percent.

The momentum behind the partnership is already visible. Panda Biotech made its India market debut at the Yarns and Fibers Expo in Mumbai, where its mechanically processed hemp fiber products attracted strong interest from textile manufacturers, fiber processors, and apparel brands. Demand was particularly concentrated around degummed hemp fiber and yarn at 20s and 30s single counts in blends from 30 to 100 percent hemp.

The partnership also brings three distinct competitive advantages to Indian buyers. On pricing, U.S.-grown hemp fiber processed in India may qualify for duty benefits on exports back to the U.S. market, creating a meaningful cost edge over competing sources. On quality and scale, Panda Biotech's mechanically cottonized fiber delivers consistent, traceable, high-performance material at the commercial volumes Indian mills require to compete globally. On sustainability, the dual OEKO-TEX and USDA BioPreferred certifications provide the documented credentials that global brands increasingly require from their supply chain partners.

Culturewell Hemp and Panda Biotech are actively welcoming inquiries from textile mills, yarn spinners, denim and apparel manufacturers, fashion brands, and non-woven companies seeking premium, certified hemp fiber solutions. Parties interested in distribution, partnership, or supply opportunities are encouraged to contact Culturewell Hemp Pvt. Ltd. directly.
