JinkoSolar, a global leader in solar module manufacturing, has introduced its Neo Green panels, which are produced using renewable energy sources. These N-type TOPCon Tiger Neo panels come from factories that have been certified as “Zero Carbon Factories” by TÜV Rheinland, marking a significant achievement in the solar industry. JinkoSolar is the first in the industry to receive this certification for all stages of production, including silicon ingot Manufacturing, silicon Wafer cutting, solar cell Manufacturing, and solar module Manufacturing.
This launch represents a pivotal step in JinkoSolar's ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and environmental responsibility. The initial 5 GW capacity of the Neo Green panels is the result of extensive research and development, along with a focus on environmental stewardship. The company has maximized the use of solar, hydro, and wind energy across its vertically integrated supply chain, with production taking place in Leshan, Chuxiong, and Shangrao.
In addition to aiming for 100% renewable energy in its manufacturing processes, JinkoSolar is expanding its use of recycled materials and increasing its reliance on electric trucks and LNG-powered ships. The company is also working towards reducing plastic use in its packaging.
Dany Qian, Vice President of JinkoSolar, expressed pride in the release of the Neo Green panels, highlighting the company's dedication to sustainability. She emphasized that the greatest environmental impact will come from offering customers sustainable products that help drive a greener future.
