Euler Motors, an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, and Jio-bp, the EV charging services and solutions joint venture between Reliance Industries and bp, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on expanding EV charging infrastructure across high-demand logistics hubs in India. The partnership is aimed at supporting the growth of electric commercial vehicles by improving access to charging facilities for fleet operators and users across the country.

The MoU was signed on February 6, 2026, by Rubin Pather, Head of Electric Mobility at Jio-bp, and Ashish Tandon, Global Head of Customer Excellence at Euler Motors, in the presence of senior leadership from both organisations.

Sarthak Behuria, Chairman of Jio-bp, said, “India’s transition towards sustainable mobility calls for close collaboration between vehicle innovation and energy infrastructure. Our partnership with Euler Motors reflects a shared commitment to accelerating the electrification of commercial logistics, a segment that will play a critical role in reducing urban emissions and enhancing freight efficiency. By combining Jio-bp’s expanding EV charging ecosystem with Euler Motors’ purpose-built electric cargo vehicles, we aim to support India’s evolving mobility requirements while contributing meaningfully to the nation’s low-carbon future.”

As Euler Motors ramps up the deployment of its recently launched Euler TURBO EV 1000 Fast Charge and Euler Storm EV Fast Charge models, access to dependable charging infrastructure has become increasingly important to maximise fleet efficiency and asset utilisation. Through this partnership, both companies seek to address infrastructure gaps, accelerate the adoption of electric commercial vehicles and advance India’s clean mobility objectives.

Ashish Tandon, Global Head of Customer Excellence at Euler Motors, added, “This MoU brings together two partners committed to solving the critical challenge of charging accessibility for commercial EVs. By leveraging shared insights and coordinated execution, we aim to deliver meaningful business outcomes for our customers while strengthening the broader EV ecosystem.”

Jio-bp and Euler Motors will collaborate across several strategic areas to speed up commercial EV adoption in India. The partnership will focus on identifying priority business hubs for commercial EV deployment by using data-driven insights to pinpoint logistics-intensive and fleet-dense locations with high charging demand, enabling a targeted rollout of charging infrastructure.

Akshay Wadhwa, CEO of Jio-bp, said, “At Jio-bp, we are focused on building a reliable, high-performance charging network that aligns with the operational realities of commercial EV fleets. Our collaboration with Euler Motors allows us to integrate Jio-bp pulse charging infrastructure with specialised electric cargo mobility solutions that are scaling rapidly across urban logistics. Together, we are helping fleet operators transition confidently to electric mobility by ensuring dependable charging access, improved uptime and enhanced operational efficiency.”

Under the partnership, Euler Motors will support customer engagement by connecting Jio-bp with existing and potential fleet customers interested in hosting EV charging stations, thereby speeding up site feasibility assessments and deployment discussions. In parallel, Jio-bp will leverage its Trans-Connect platform to introduce Euler Motors to its fleet customer base, supporting energy transition initiatives and driving faster adoption of Euler’s electric vehicle offerings.

Gaurav Kumar, Director on the Board of Euler Motors, said, “Scaling electric mobility in the commercial vehicle segment requires charging infrastructure to expand in tandem with vehicle deployment. For fleet operators, access to fast and reliable charging at high-demand logistics hubs has a direct impact on uptime, asset utilisation and operating economics. Our partnership with Jio-bp underscores a shared focus on building this essential infrastructure backbone, enabling fleet operators across India to shift to electric mobility with greater confidence and efficiency.”
