Air Canada Cargo opens cold chain facility at London Heathrow

Air Canada Cargo has officially opened a new cold chain facility at London Heathrow, enhancing its capabilities for handling temperature-sensitive shipments, including pharmaceuticals and fresh food. This facility is Air Canada Cargo's largest hub in Europe.

Jon Turner, Vice President of Cargo at Air Canada, stated, “We continue to invest in critical infrastructure across our global network. This upgraded facility at London Heathrow is a significant advancement in our service offerings and positions us for continued growth.”

The new facility includes nearly 900 square feet of temperature-controlled areas designed to meet strict industry standards and global regulatory requirements, ensuring that products are maintained within the necessary temperature range.
