Tucked away in Bengaluru, Aequs is quietly making waves in the global aerospace industry. This homegrown contract manufacturer supplies a staggering 5,000 different components and systems to some of the world’s biggest names Boeing, Airbus, Spirit AeroSystems, Collins Aerospace, Honeywell, and SAAB along with several other Tier-I suppliers.
What sets Aequs apart isn’t just the scale, but its truly global footprint. From its manufacturing bases in Karnataka to facilities in Paris, Cholet (France) and Houston (USA), the company is steadily cementing India’s place in the high-precision aerospace supply chain.
Interestingly, sources reveal that Aequs is now in talks with Apple Inc., exploring opportunities to become part of the tech giant’s global supply chain from India, a move that could mark a new chapter for both Apple’s India ambitions and Aequs’ diversification.
Founded with a clear global vision, the company had previously raised $51 million in private equity from top-tier investors. With over βΉ1,000 crore in revenue, Aequs is more than just a manufacturer, it’s becoming a symbol of India's growing manufacturing capabilities in high-tech global.
