ACFI Appoints GMR's Sanjiv Edward as President for 2024-26

A new board has been constituted by the Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) for a two-year term (2024–2026) during its 12th Annual General Meeting.

Sanjiv Edward, the CEO of GMR Group's cargo and logistics division, has been named by ACFI as the organization's new president for the upcoming term. Yashpal Sharma, the managing director of Skyways Group, will continue to serve as an ex-officio member of the board.

The new governing board is eager to collaborate with the ACFI family and achieve new heights. They are enthusiastic and completely charged up. We can do it together, the association declared.

In order to assist the expansion of air cargo in the nation, ACFI further noted that the new agenda is centered on policy leveraging, ease of doing business, and overall ecosystem development.
