TVS Supply Chain Solutions Secures Daimler India Contract for In-Plant Warehouse Operations

CHENNAI: TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited (TVS SCS), a global provider of integrated supply chain services, has secured a three-year contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) to manage in-plant warehouse operations at its manufacturing facility in Chennai. The association underscores TVS SCS’s focus on delivering efficient, technology-enabled supply chain solutions for leading automotive manufacturers. Around 700 TVS SCS employees will be deployed as part of the engagement.

As part of the agreement, TVS SCS will oversee end-to-end warehouse operations within DICV’s manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth material movement, optimised inventory management, and improved operational efficiency.

The company will deploy advanced technologies including IoT-based tracking for real-time visibility, automation-driven systems to minimise manual handling, predictive analytics for improved planning, and digital dashboards for centralised performance monitoring. These capabilities are expected to strengthen DICV’s production ecosystem while supporting its focus on quality and efficiency.
