Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Noida International Airport along with its cargo terminal, marking a significant boost to India’s aviation and logistics ecosystem. On the same occasion, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for a 40-acre Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility, positioning the airport as a strategic gateway for trade, connectivity, and economic growth in North India. According to a statement from the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the airport is expected to unlock development opportunities across western Uttar Pradesh, including regions such as Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Bulandshahr.
