INOX Air Products Private Ltd (INOXAP) has crossed a key milestone with the commissioning of a PESO-approved large package warehouse for speciality gases in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. The facility is licensed to store critical gases including Nitrous Oxide, Silane in tube trailers, and Hydrogen mixtures in y-toners, catering primarily to the growing requirements of India’s solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing industry.

Ensuring supply reliability and operational flexibility
For INOXAP’s customers, particularly solar manufacturers, the new facility strengthens supply reliability while offering greater operational flexibility. By maintaining sizeable on-site inventories of essential gases, INOXAP is able to significantly reduce import lead times, cushion the impact of global supply disruptions, and support uninterrupted production. The warehouse is expected to improve operational efficiency and enhance supply chain resilience for partner companies, enabling capacity expansion and supporting India’s renewable energy ambitions.

Supporting India’s energy security and self-reliance
Commenting on the development, Siddharth Jain, Managing Director – INOX Air Products, said, “This milestone represents a meaningful step towards building a self-reliant solar ecosystem in India. With this PESO-approved large package warehouse for speciality gases, we are not just adding infrastructure, but reinforcing the pillars of supply reliability, safety and innovation that the solar industry needs to scale with confidence. At INOX Air Products, our approach remains nation-first, with investments planned ahead of demand and aligned with future industrial requirements. We are proud to support advanced manufacturing and contribute to India’s journey towards energy security and leadership in clean technologies. We also acknowledge PESO for its forward-looking approach that continues to enable such innovations.”
