The film draws a powerful connection between cricket and logistics, showing how progress in both fields is shaped by constant improvement, innovation and the drive to rethink what can be achieved. It mirrors DP World’s approach to solving complex global logistics challenges by consistently striving to move beyond previous standards.
The campaign film has been developed by Ogilvy India, Gurugram, directed by Faraz Ali and produced by Crazy Owl Films, India. Told through a generational perspective, the narrative brings together a legendary cricketer and emerging talent to underline a shared mindset of raising expectations and challenging traditional boundaries.
DP World Global Ambassador Sachin Tendulkar said, “I am delighted to collaborate with DP World on a campaign that highlights how excellence, whether in logistics or cricket, comes from pushing limits and surpassing past achievements. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup offers a stage for the next generation of superstar cricketers to build their own legacy. We hope this campaign encourages fans to stretch the boundaries of what they believe is possible.”
DP World Brand Ambassador Abhishek Sharma said, “I am extremely excited to be playing in my first ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which begins later this week. My style of play is about taking on the opening bowlers, setting momentum early and scoring at pace. I have drawn inspiration from the greats who have worn the jersey before me, but this tournament represents my moment. My goal is to show fans that it is not enough to build on the past, but to go beyond it.”
India captain Suryakumar Yadav added, “This ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is a major milestone, both personally and for our team. Competing at home gives us the opportunity not only to win in front of our supporters, but to create history by becoming the first side to successfully defend the title. Many legends have played this game, but this is our time to go beyond a mindset I hope others are inspired to adopt.”
The campaign film will be aired across television and digital platforms through the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final on 8 March and will also be promoted across DP World’s global social media channels.
