Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has signed an agreement with Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) to develop a multimodal logistics park within the MIHAN Special Economic Zone in Nagpur. Under the agreement, 19.92 acres of land have been allocated to CWC within the MIHAN-SEZ area to build modern warehousing and logistics infrastructure. The project will incorporate advanced technology-driven storage systems along with dedicated cold chain facilities to handle diverse cargo, including perishable goods and pharmaceuticals. The proposed logistics park will offer integrated connectivity across road, rail, and air networks, enabling faster movement of goods and reducing overall transit time across supply chains.
