Adani Logistics, Maersk and Volvo Move First Import Block Train to ICD Malur, Boosting Green Multimodal Logistics

BENGALURU: Adani Logistics has reached a significant milestone in sustainable multimodal logistics with the successful operation of its first import block train transporting auto parts. This service, run in collaboration with Maersk Line for the Volvo Group, connects Ennore Port to Adani ICD Malur, enhancing inland cargo connectivity across South India. The inaugural block train represents a major step toward creating a faster, more reliable, and cost-efficient supply chain across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. It also showcases the shared commitment of Adani, Maersk, and Volvo Group to advance greener logistics solutions
